Your mom or dad has died. It hurts so much after your mom's death or dad's death that you feel alone and scared. You may even feel angry or abandoned. I am so sorry for your pain. Both of my parents are in heaven, but I know how hard it was to say good-bye. There are still times I want to go to the phone to call my mom and tell her something. Sometimes I can even smell my dad's pipe tobacco even though I am the only one here. What ever happens and whatever you're feeling, understand it's normal. God loved your parent(s) as much as he loves you. Your mom or dads are safe in heaven. No longer do they have pain or any sadness. Now it is up to you. Give yourself time to mourn. Let God use these inspirational and uplifting poems on the Heaven's Roll Call website along with other Christians friends to offer comfort and hold you. It does and will get better. I don't know that the pain goes away completely after the death of a parent, but you will learn to tuck it away so it doesn't surface as often. No matter what - keep looking up. You will see your parent(s) again. God loves you.

The Emptiness Inside

Cemetery Photo John 14:2
In my Father's house are many mansions; If it were not so, I would have told you so. I go to prepare a place for you.               John 14:2

I Love You, Daddy

Daddy Didn't Say Good-bye

Good-bye, Mom

Your Mom Is Okay

The Sun Will Shine

You Gave Me

Weeping may endure for the night, but joy cometh in the morning.
